Susanna Robinson

Susanna was born in Raleigh, North Carolina, and graduated cum laude from Wake Forest University in 1987. Her career began in medical equipment sales from 1988 to 1991, after which she transitioned to a mutual fund operations company where she worked until 2006. Susanna joined Resource Management Associates (RMA), which was founded by her father, Gene Langley, in 1997. Gene was a pioneer in the financial planning business as one of the founders of Raymond James in 1974. Following in her father’s footsteps, Susanna became branch manager of RMA in 2008 and took a significant step forward by acquiring the business from her father in 2014.

Her father’s legacy of a planning-first, client-centered approach to financial and investment management deeply influences Susanna’s professional ethos. This commitment to service and sound advice has been pivotal throughout her tenure at RMA and was a crucial factor in her decision to merge with Peak Planning Group. This strategic alignment ensures that Gene Langley’s foundational values continue to guide the firm's operations and client relationships.

Outside of her professional life, Susanna remains passionate about the outdoors, ACC sports, and Carolina Hurricanes hockey. She cherishes her time with her husband and their four grown children, maintaining a vibrant family life alongside her career.
